Gopixel's lead creative designer, Andrew Hoffman, who recently had art shown in Core Art New Space's annual WOW show, will be having an art opening at the 8th Ave Galley (8th and Santa Fe) in the art district, downtown on March 7th.
The show (titled "there is piranha in the pool again.") will consist of selected work that includes both digital and traditional mediums. The show runs from March 7th until March 31st.
"I'm lucky to be working at gopixel, I make a living by creating everyday. This also helps with my art...I don't need to sell my work in order to make a living; I don't have to cater to anyone needs, but my own. Because of my background I'm really interested in digital media, and traditional media as well...I try to cross-breed the two into something unique. I grew up in the mountains, went to college in the mountains and recently moved to the city, so urban culture is new to me and is a big influence in a lot of my work"
